This trip was wonderful in ways that couldn't have been expected. Rollo and I are starting to be friends, like; we have been friends, but only because of Joe. Our friendship is starting to be legitimate and independent of Joe. Hanging out in a dear blind at midnight and shooting anything that moves is officially the ultimate male bonding, period.

Sophomore year, the people were new, school was okay, Life was far away.

I just don't think I'll ever be that happy again.

Everyone at baseball practice was really, really nice. Several people came up to me and started talking to me, including the team captain who as it turns out used to be a student of my moms. Pitching, I tell you, I haven't felt this right in years. I threw my first curve ball today. It was b-e-a-utiful...of course my second curve ball damn near hit a car, but god that first one was awesome. I threw a change up too, the first and second were strikes, the third was a little high and to the right. I sense that I am talking about this too ( Read more... )

Here it is.

The next 24 hours determine the next 4 years of my life, and those 4 years affect the rest of my life. I've never wanted anything this badly.

I got accepted into Texas State!

If I make auditions, I'm in.
