the dental fail

Dental Clinic fail today, no extraction... after an hour into the visit, with several injections into the site for numbing, it was determined that I need another week on a stronger antibiotic before my painful, hollow, rotted tooth is removed. Once you get used to your new teeth I think you'll be really happy with them. Your vanity should love getting a perfect set of brand new chompers!

Wow. I've heard of the dental school option. It seems to be the best option for struggling people who need dental work. I am so sorry you have lost your smile and your laughter--two essentials for healthy living, but I am glad that you may be able to fix the problem. Keep posting on this. I'm really interested in this as a viable option.

I had all my uppers removed (and got a full upper denture) in 04, and holy cow, I don't regret it a bit. I managed to save my lowers with bridges and crowns ( ... )

I've no doubts my process will take a bit, but about how long did it take to go from "OMG my teeth are killing me!" to "OMG, getting used to this new denture is a PITA"?

I've been told by a few doctors that my health would improve if I could do something about my teeth. It's appalling how difficult it is to get dental coverage along with one's medical coverage (not that medical is easy to get)... problems with one's teeth does directly relate to many health concerns.

My brother needed extensive work done. Best to get large amounts done at once if you can.
