I'm a housewife and I'm Okay...

I've been living a life I never expected, one I rejected outright as an angry teenager and an ex-LDS cult member... ( a housewife )

moving, gardening, cooking, handy(wo)man

The food sounds delicious... anytime you need a ride or help with anything, I will be there for you. If I am not working. But I will make the time. I am being selfish in that offer, I would just like to hang out with you again :)

I would very much like to have you visit, on a regular basis even. We have "girls night" every Wednesday evening and I know everyone would enjoy your company/contribution. But even one visit would be nice. We're not officially set up, but it's opened up enough that it isn't crowded with a guest. We'll have a homewarming after Mariah's had a month or so to finish her unpacking, too. Though it may be blended with the rebirth of "the annual Yule party at Jen's".

As I have said in the past, name the date and I will be there :)

This week I have seriously uncluttered our home. It seems like a new space the more I work on it. I have invested in houseplants that cannot really be killed and it helped me think of it as a relaxing spot.

Also, I feel more spiritually grounded that I ever have before in a living space.

It does muchos buenos, no?

Most of our houseplants are on or near the hearth, which is helping with loss of chi the suck-gut open fireplace creates. I'll disperse them more when we can get another appropriate deflector for the fireplace.

This is the nicest spiritually pleasant environment I've lived in for a long time... not necessarily high end (don't need) but very good energy I'm often told by others. I'm relaxed and happy here and I've heard roommates say that just coming into the condo helps reduce the stress of the day. I feel kinda proud though I cannot take all the credit.

I want to come home!!! kaligirl September 30 2006, 00:22:07 UTC
I can't wait to come home. So I can see all the wonderful things you have done and I can start to put some of me in the house too. My Aunt is great but I'm so lonely for My Sisters.
I've got 2 great scarves for my costume and the belt is almost done. I hope to get a few more things for the costume if I can find them.

Oh, I can't wait for you to come and housewife with me! It's too much for me to do alone. There's much I've left for you! *L*

I'm panicked, as it's Saturday morning and I STILL have a truck-load at V's. Supposedly, Sis's man Jason will be taking me today. I hope so, stuffs' been packed for a while but I haven't been able to clean yet.

Liz is already wussing out on the idea of costumes, Chere rarely calls or visits (they didn't even get the desk, not even yet!) so I don't know if she's done anything. I've eyeballed a lot of things, but merely have a mask bought. I was hoping to get stuff this month, but I haven't been to see my doctor because I've been waiting for the past week for my last minute notice that someone will move my stuff for me. I bled too much money into here already.
