The joke stops now. Tomorrow I'm writing an open letter to the Sun in hopes that it gets published - enough is enough and sooner or later justice will be served.

That huge accident at Cathedral and Arlington on the weekend involved one of my family members- and knowing that the people who stole the van had a huge list of offences and will get a year for killing somebody who lived for her kids and was on her way to make a living is stupid - it's gotta stop.

Hey Marli, I posted a comment to you on myspace once. Don't write a letter to the Sun, no one takes the sun seriously. If anywhere the free press and to the actual police department that deals with it. Or, if you really feel like being out there to the head of the criminology departments at the two universities so that each person who is educated there will understand what people go through. I know this sounds stupid and you don't want to hear it, but on the plus side, crime has gone down 5% in the last 10 years, it just doesn't seem like that. Not that this makes you feel any better when it's one of your own...

I may actually send it to both of the universities, what those three boys and my extended family is going through is awful.

Her husband can't even talk and his face is swollen from crying and I can't imagine what it's like for the boys to not have their mother.

This is the second child from her family to be a victim of drunk driving.
It's stupid, they should get the comfort that this guy will be locked up and won't be able to hurt anyone else.
