What's up with the roomie situation?!

Also the apron- lol. I rocked the aprons in 1st year, but they didn't catch on. :( Except when I was art directing shoots. Hopefully there is better luck for the apron in brooklyn.

Aprons are hot. I feel like I'm reclaiming some dignity for 50s housewives. My cateye glasses compliment this. My blue one is fantastic with its pocket and pink swiggles. I'm sure they'll be so hip it hurts in the next week and I'll be forced to retire/sell my aprons for fear of being labeled ... ha

I have 2-3 strangers living here, my living room is a mess and i miss having my own apartment, a home. BUT it should be over with soon. And my apartment will be beautiful - a loveseat from nan, an artwall, good coffee and clean floors.

I wish I could move in sept, but unless you've got a beefy american ready for me to marry the job situation will be hard... I am thinking about going down for the NY Clown Festival though if you'd be willing to host me as your Canadian Exchange Student then. ;)

Why do you have strangers living there? You could always just pay for your apartment by doing short term rentals for travellers that want to stay in NYC longer and stuff like that?? I was thinking of doing that when I was stuck for roomates for a bit in the old apartment.

My sublet who I sort of know has her sister and boyfriend here. And its utilities and they're not paying a lot of rent and using my things and I don't know them, and don't feel comfortable .. bleh ...

Yeah, I guess that might work, but that's unpredictable, so I'm looking for someone to be here for the year or so. My life keeps changing, I can barely keep up!
