this is taking a bit longer than i'd imagined. the first 25 had no hesitation, but im only up to 35 and there's a lot of effort to find the next one.

that's what insomnia's for.
but yeah, it is harder than it looks. i did ten a night for ten nights though; didn't try to do it all at once.

OOH i like it!

seems like most of them can be accomplished any old time, except for #70. that is a seriously limited time offer. hurry!

for #84--have you tried etsy.com? i just bought some stuff from there (posters and bookplates, actually, but there's plenty of vintage stuff). or you could try your grandmothers; i bet they'd love to give erica pretty things.

Frootch! Keith Richards will out live us ALL.

ooh, Etsy's a good idea. Antique marts scare me. This sounds better.

for #7, i think you're setting your expectations a bit low. in my secondhand experience, keeping an orchid alive is much, much easier than coaxing it to bloom again.

and #81--i looked it up. does that count? i've never heard of the movie but now i kinda wanna see it (after reading a comparison on jezebel of the heathers and the plastics).

I've killed most of mine after a month. I think I'm going to try to double that. Then worry about them re-blooming.

I think so . . . You know what it refers to now and I didn't specify how you had to know. It's SUPER dark comedy, but definitely worth adding to the canon of cult movies you've seen.

Seriously amazing list!!

The Chanel dress would be gorgeous on you. And I love how you want to make your sisters' wedding cakes.

The beauty of Chanel is that her dresses look good on pretty much everyone.

My sister's don't know about the wedding cake thing. It'll be an interesting conversation, but I don't think they'll object. The birthday cakes I've made for them have been awesome.
