Movies and fun!

Yes! Clearly I am not the only one who's seen this version enough times to have it memorized.

Lol. No, you are not. This is my main "comfort" movie - whenever I'm feeling down or if I'm sick, it's the first movie I pick to watch. That's in addition to the times I just feel like watching it again.

The 2005 theatrical release just doesn't do the same for me, even though I am quite a fan of the performances of Donald Sutherland, Brenda Blethyn and the indomitable Dame Judi Dench and do re-watch it from time to time for that reason - Kira Knightly and Matthew Macfadyen simply don't have the chemistry that Firth and Ehle do, and I find the script adaptation somewhat less true to Austen's tone.
