Twilight At The Ballet

Urgh *facepalm*

This is nearly as bad as the Twilight style bookcovers the classics like Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, and even Pride and Prejudice which isn't even a tragic love story.

Oh, man, don't even get me started on the book covers! I've done a short rant on them before and had to restrain myself before it degenerated into "roar grumble grumble." The thing is, the type of kids who will buy something like Wuthering Heights solely because it's marketed as a Twilight type of book are the ones who will never be able to slog through it. They won't get past the language and... ok, apparently I'm ranting again. Time to go get some chocolate.

I also hate the fact that Wuthering Heights says "Love Never Dies" on it which is the name of the Phantom of the Opera sequel I have a whole other set of annoyances with.

But Pride and Prejudice is a book I really like and the love story in it is nothing like the ones in Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. As a marketing strategy to tie it in to Twilight it just doesn't work.
