I should be working on that poetry analysis paper for La right now... but, quite frankly, I don't get it. Poetry = abstract, Essay = concrete. These two things do not mix in my brain. What do diction and syntax mean again? I have NO clue. It's just not working for me right now. Speaking of La and things that aren't working: Term paper? WTF

i'd much rather WRITE poetry than analyze it...or just read it and appreciate it, not try to compete with la's son's paper that he wrote in an hour.

i finished my second book today! so my goal for next week is to reread/highlight. the next week is to read criticism, the next is note cards, then outline, then rough draft, then polish. but mine is due feb 20th (because of spain). i don't know i just went through my assignment book to give myself due dates.
