Oh my god, that was so sweet anbd painful! ^^ I really loved it. I love seeing Soubi's vulnerable side, and I love the way you portrayed the role reversal. It was all so well done.

Volume 8 broke my heart too ;_; poor Soubi... I can barely stand it. He just needs a great big hug! And by the way, volume 9 is on Shoku-dan if you'd like to read it before it comes out ^^ I think it's up to chapter 9 right now.

I love writing Soubi's vulnerable side, because we don't get to see it all that often. In volume six, he broke down, and then at the end of volume eight, it's obvious that he's breaking down again, and it kills me in a way. :/ I just really wanted to write about how Ritsuka feels during this time, and so I did. With Soubi suddenly falling apart like this, someone has to be strong, yeah?

Oooh, thank you so much! I have up to chapter six of volume nine (or what they're calling volume nine, anyway, cos there are some chapters from nine that are in volume eight), but I didn't get the chance to download any of the others before the site was hacked. I'm not even sure they have chapters seven and eight translated. :/

Thank you so much! I was thinking of that scene (and of course the last scene in volume eight) when I wrote this so I'm glad this drabble called one of those scenes to mind.

I agree with you--both of them need love and care, both in different and strikingly similar ways. I think both of them need to feel trust.
