-Ernest Hemingway- lots of information. He has lots of themes and symbolisms that are throughout his novels and short stories.
-J.D. Salinger- who doesn't love Catcher in the Rye?
- Edith Wharton- she wrote Ethan Frome and Summer

F. scott fitzgerald... i don't know much about him, but i think he stole some of his writing from his wife. She was a writer too, and she went crazy or something.

And seeing as we're from connecticut, and he was a witty ole fellow, Samuel Clemens, AKA Mark Twain.
