My best friend is moving. We've been together since we were five. My point is that Andrew and I have had our issues, but who hasn't had issues with their friends, granted not everyone dates their best friend, but still, we got past it. Well, you know he's always going to be your best friend. From what you say you've been through a lot. You guys will stay in touch and I'm sure he'll visit. Just having him there in spirit will help a lot. Hopefully when your mom does something dumb you can call him. Sometimes having someone talk to does a lot of good. Also if she is abusing you maybe you should get an adult involved. You sound young, I would say move with him and get a place together but I don't know if you can legally do that.
