all placental mammals have belly buttons.

some species of birds do have glands in their throat that secrete a milklike substance that they feed to their young. even if parrots aren't those kind of birds, i imagine that milk still has enough fat in it to attract them. i'm just trying to imagine how that felt for the dog.
