hey guys, long time no lj. jfc this new interface is ugly.

ANYWAY. Last night it was brought to my attention that this person over on ao3 had stolen my story 'as this sunset turns to morning' in a way that was really bizarre. It wasn't an exact plagiarism in that they just copied and pasted it over, but were in fact rewriting the story line by

I don't recognize it either. Why do people do this? I've been fighting a group over on Facebook who are reposting artwork without giving credit, and even worse, posting art when credit isn't known. They had the balls to tell me that if artists don't want their art reposted, we shouldn't post it online in the first place. That angers the living shit out of me.

I hope you figure out the true author of that fic and can get it removed. *hugs*

It most definitely looks familiar but I couldn't tell you what it is called. I remember reading that snippet before and it was a few years ago. Long before that user posted it. Hand to the people at http://stop-plagiarism.livejournal.com/ They will look in to it for you and find out.

Sunset is special and should never be touched (except by you). Grrr arrrgh. I'm glad you got the fraud version taken down. That other story's plot does look familiar. I read some and the writing is bad so maybe she is taking a good story and rewriting it poorly. But it's hard to recall the original. I've read so many J2 and for a while I was delving into older stories because they were all new to me. I'll poke around my mems some here on LJ.
