So, as I said in my last post, I came out to my youngest brother (Eamonn, who's 12) last week. I can't actually be arsed going into it, but basically I was talking to him hinted that Anthony (my other wee bro) knows more about my life than he does, and he got really jealous and nagged me til I told him. Sounds like you've had an action packed few days! I bet trying to ge to see the band was a right laugh - well done you for using your initiative. I don't think I would have had the guts to even try!

Glad your brother took it well, that's really good to hear.

How did you find out about the TV course? Was it via some e-mail bulletin? If so let me know the web address so I can subscribe, it sounds ace.

I have indeed had an action packed few days...well, week really. And next week's gonna be more action-packed as I get ready for university, except this time in a bad way. STRESS!

I heard about the course through a local media education centre - basically I phoned up to apply for this course on documentary making, but the lady said that the course was only for schools groups. However, she said, there was another course for people my age on the following week which I could apply for if I wanted to, so I did - and that course was like a shorter version of the Edinburgh one. So when I went on the short course they gave us application forms, which I filled out and got in! The address is www.tvyp.co.uk, you have to be aged 18-24, I think (how old are you?)...anyway, good luck!

Trying to meet the band was indeed a right laugh, I shall be continuing the story at a later date when I get my act together...

Bummer, I'm too old for it - I'll be 25 in 6 weeks *sulks*. Sounds wicked though - you should try and go for the work placement thing - one of the placement is with Shed Productions! Imagine working on Bad Girls all day...OMG like that would be so fab!
