A few weeks back, friend and photographer Emma Delves-Broughton (http://www.emmadelvesbroughton.com) photographed a couple of my masks. Here are a few of the results from the sessions:
*hehe* I guessed that's what you meant:) Don't worry, I suffer from tricky fingers as well. (see I just had to change that 'well' as I wrote it as 'welk'!!!.. lol ;)
I stumbled across your journal while searching for admirers of mourning jewellery and paraphernalia. I see that we're in a lot of the same communities too! I'd like to add you, if that's alright? Please let me know...
Those are absolutely stunning! I too, stumbled upon your journal whilst looking for an interest, and I hope you don't mind that I have added you. I'd love to see more of your work.
I can't believe i missed this post... note to self: pay more attention!! :)
I love the first photo with Mandy & Blood Kiss, that looks really cool, plus it's the mask that makes the whole photo! not sure of the ones of Pearl with Poison though, love the mask, just not keen on the photos. It's probably just me though but i must admit that it seems so odd not seeing you wearing the masks, you and Chris seem to do the best photos with your own masks :D
Good to hear from you, and happy you enjoyed the pictures :)) It was really interesting to see what sort of imagery another photographer would create with the masks and I was thrilled when Emma asked to borrow some pieces:)The 'Bloodkiss' one is beautiful, I love the way the model is almost wearing the woodland:) It has a strong organic sensuality about it. I like the simple elegance of the ones with Pearl, they have such a gracefulness about them:) They are very different from Chris's work, but it's fascinating to see what inspiration the masks give other artists who work with such different styles and techniques:)
Thanks Troy! I was really pleased with the way that all of these images came out - all so different.
Hope you and your lovely lady are staying well and happy! Keep up the great work with Living in Oblivion and Onderstroom - I hope it all keeps on going from strength to strength!

You won't see a great deal of my work on here, but if you're interested then take a look at http://www.cabinodd.com/ (listing for Tanith Hicks). I'm also on MySpace ( http://www.myspace.com/symphony_of_shadows ).
I hope you enjoy the images!
