There is nothing wrong with saying "i love you" if you mean it. you're right, if god forbid something were to happen to someone and you were upset with them just before it happened, you would be so overwhelmed by the fact you parted ways with hatrid as opposed to love. people think love is something to be feared when in reality its something to be embraced. the only reason you dont want to throw a word like love around is because you dont want it to lose its special meaning so be careful. when you meet your special someone and they finally say those special 3 words you want to feel, deep within that wonderful heart of yours that they mean it!
