Hi everyone! Now for the fun part of the trip, all the photos! If you missed it and were curious I have a few pages full of text over here with details of our time spent in Iceland.
You obviously had a wonderful time! The scenery is truly sublime as are your gorgeous photos. What I love is that once you leave Reykjavik you rarely see any signs of people. No houses, sometimes no other car for hours... The 'emptiness' makes the rough, yet beautiful scenery even more impressive. Thank you for the long posts!
It was such a wonderful time!! Goodness, I'll never forget my honeymoon there.
You are so right--the quiet nature of the outside of the city really adds to the beauty of it all. I'm so glad you enjoyed the photos and the silly and intense length of these past few posts <33
That coffee berry tart looks delicious, and I don't even like coffee. But I want it. The rest looks amazing too, both sweets and the food. That tomato soup looks good enough to die for.
I adore the cover for HBP. Very ominous. :O But I like it.
Holy grapes, and the street art blows my mind. That's absolutely gorgeous stuff. So creative.
Then the gloves on that gate/fence. Hahah. I mean, that tends to happen if someone drops something but... I've no clue what that was about. It looked cute, though.
You two are adorable, and so beautiful, and I love your outdoorsy clothes. The woods there are a little too open - too little undergrowth and too many boulders - but yeeeees, it reminds me of the woods where I used to walk my dog.
Thank you soo much for sharing these photos with us. <3
Gorgeous photos! The cathedral looks incredibly intimidating, whoa. And the longboat looks SO COOL (although as you said in the other post about the cathedral - being a Londoner I'm incredibly spoilt, having free access to 5000+-year-old jewellery and writing via the British Museum).

Hehe yeah it's always fun to see lovely architecture and history but it's hard not to compare it with what I have back at home!
