Wow, those tattoos are *amazing* They are gorgeous! I totally see why you always go to him. :D He's fantastic!

I'm sorry about your SO being laid off work, but so many good things to be happy about, eh? <33

Thank you! Yeah my tattoo artist has really amazing style! I'm already planning my next one.

Yeah it's a real bummer about his job situation. He had been there so long and was running the entire bike department and had great benefits. But he's filling out a resume as I type and we are both being optimistic. Good thing we downsized our wedding before he even got the news!

late comment is late..

Bummer about Forrest's work =( Have they at least given a fair bit of notice so he has a fair chance at finding another job before they close?

On the more positive note, your new tat is wicked =D I love the way he's given the illusion of depth in the layers of bones, branches and twigs.

Sort of but not really. I mean technically they did give two weeks but that still feels insane to me. I guess the whole thing is kind of a shock. The store is closing on March 3rd. He was full time and had benefits so he will get a bit of severance which helps but he sadly won't be able to find an other job in his discipline for the same money and benefits for at least six months (the other outdoors major chain in NY, REI has a six month probation period before they allow full time scheduling)

And thank you about the tattoo <33

Eeep =S Yeah, two weeks is nothing at all... Fingers crossed for you both, hopefully someone will take his experience and circumstance into account ♥
