There was a "Degrees of Separation" meme going around recently where people would take characters from different fandoms and explain how they were connected in six ficlets or fewer.

Someone gave selenak the prompt of Mr. Saxon (Doctor Who) and Mr. Morden (B5), and oh, what she did with it. It's a brilliant, creepy, dark fairy tale, and if you know ( Read more... )

I think you're right to hide. but YES, Morden always creeped me out when I watched B5, there was an element of something not quite right in him, I like this tie in as an explanation to why

Oh, yeah, Morden was creepy. And the fact that the Shadows were always with him was creepy.

Lyta was creepy too, though. Shadows, Vorlons, BOTH creepy.

You see why I was hiding behind the couch? And yeah, it's a really nifty meme. Hard to do Doctor Who with it, though, because the Doctor can pretty much be one degree of separation from just about anybody.

Yeah, I guess the best thing the Doctor can be is one of the links toward the Six Degrees.

But...damn. Yeah, I need to go re-read this when I'm not at work.

*coughs*

I did two other prompts earlier with Doctor Who as well, though the Doctor in both cases was not the character requested (he shows up anyway in one of them): Once Upon A Time (requested characters: Peter Petrelli to Martha Jones via Donna Noble and Nathan Petrelli, Heroes crossover), and Four degrees from Claire Bennet to Jack Harkness...
