And cooperate with the Doctor to fix things, which is what I REALLY wanted but was afraid to ask Santa for.
I did! I asked for it! And after Part I I was miserably afraid of what Part II would look like, but it was AWESOME.
So okay, there were parts that didn't make much sense, but the Doctor faced up to the things he'd done, he had a chance to talk it all out with Wilf, and the Doctor/Master stuff was BRILLIANT and they did work together in the end to SAVE EACH OTHER'S LIVES ASLKJALHGFHSGA.

Best one-sentence summary EVER. That's exactly what was awesome about it.
I loved it all, specially the part with Doctor-Master-get out of the way that equaled a pony for Christmas for me too!!! :) But in general, I liked the whole thing, there is such negative reviews out there, I was so happy to find yours as positive amongst them! But I really am still in denial, he is my Doctor, six months ago I didnt even know Doctor Who, and then became an instant fangirl, just to learn he is leaving...it really makes me sad, a lot.
There is a gorgeous Doctor/Master-centric picspam and meta here: http://aria.dreamwidth.org/62433.html that you might enjoy! I'm going to rec it when I get around to posting again, but I thought you might want a preview. *g*
Aww, that's too bad, that you've only been in the fandom a little while and now you have to change Doctors! What episode hooked you?
Oh, man, I love that icon. Some combination of glee and, well, insanity. (Which may be a description of fandom, now that I think of it...)
The complete fandom is a mix of glee and insanity! I have been procrastinating investing my time since EoT in wallowing in Ten-denial! I did watch the Doctor/Master picspam over at aria, thanks, but not having a dreamwidth account I did not spam her comments about how I just found wonderful how she mixed the images with the review! It is really a nut fandom without need of subtext for any shipping you may like! It lends itself to anything! I also found an interesting and IMO apt picspam of crazy!Ten: http://users.livejournal.com/_thirty2flavors/110969.html How can the fandom not be equally crazy? ;) I still am thinking that after WoM we could have a whole season of crazy!Ten, with the Master saving the rest of the universe of the Timelord Victorious! :D
I started watching Doctor Who because he was mentioned in stories joonscribble I stalk read and got curious! I started with Nine and loved him, and was suspicious of Ten, but then I was sold on him at the end of Christmas

I saw that picspam of crazy!Ten! Very well-done, I thought!

I have fervent hopes that someone, somewhere, is writing that. Because I want it too. And we're not the only ones who do!
Bwah--I completely understand about getting hooked in by joonscribble's stories. She is awesome. (I say guiltily, because I'm way behind on her last multi-parter.)
I started with Nine and loved him, and was suspicious of Ten, but then I was sold on him at the end of Christmas Invasion, his energy, fun, sulk, dork, all his moments were WIN for me!
YES. And that lovely flip from manic babble about buttons that should never be pushed and the Lion King to "No second chances"--he won me over, right there.
*hugs you and makes you a blanket fort out of your denial couch*
