I'm 26 looking back on 21 and it feels eerily similar to being 21 looking back on 17. It's that whole 'live and learn' philosophy - where forgiving yourself for the past goes hand in hand with realizing how much you have yet to learn. I love that. For me, it makes an unknown future more exciting and less anxiety-provoking.
I'm also mindful of Matt and inspired by the impact he had (and will continue to have) on so many, including those like me who were never particularly close. I appreciated his ability to be so passionately opinionated but transcend conflicting opinions with sincere, fun-loving kindness. I still have a lot to learn from him...
