Why yes, I am alive.

Here's my grand return. It's been at least two years?? since I've made a post or worked on icons. I don't know how frequent I'll be making icons/posting, but I'll try to do it more than once a year. lol

As far as the buffy ones... I've been trying to decide if they're better than my previous icons, but I think most of them are just different rather than better. I've definitely had better Doctor Who icons. I was struggling with those... hence how few there are. Thanks :)

I really love this new style, sort of like a gradient or negative type look for it, a nice kick on your style.

18 really stuck out to me, but you know I'm a sucker for those kinds, the simplicity of an icon, because the scene/cap itself is so powerful it's enough..and you chose it wisely ;)

17 (hee! Badass Buffy oh ya), 16 crop+text=perfect!, 14 has a really awesome layout/crop, love the texture and crop of 13, 23 cuz of the HEE! 38...I really don't know if this was on purpose, but the background says "Hard" (because Hardware is cut off on the store sign) but...that is so dirty, especially with that shocked look on Buffy's face :P

24 vs 42, I think given maybe a different cap or something the b/w would be very effective, I really like the idea of using b/w in that case, but on the other hand I had a hard time seeing what the cap was, so 42 is a lot clearer.

You've got some pretty sick old school here. It gives me a happy.

I was experimenting with textures differently than I had before. And I remember in the past, that sort of look never appealed to me, but I guess some time took care of that. :P ( ... )
