wow, huh. . .I've never even heard of Profit, I don't think. Otherwise I'd surely try my hand at some fic for you.

It's totally wacky mid-90's corporate sleaze. When your main protagonist is a psychotic corporate raider who was raised in a refrigerator box with a hole cut out the side for the TV, seduced by his stepmother and eventually set fire to his father and disappeared, only to reappear as a VP clawing up the corporate ladder - for the very same company that produced the refrigerator (and hence the box) he was raised (and which he still sleeps in - well, it's got all the earmarks of a classic.

Actually, it was cancelled after 6 eps for being too dark and nasty. Even David Greenwalt was all, "Dude, I can't believe we even got produced in the first place!" Poor Greenwalt. All his shows get cancelled. And I liked Angel and Jake 2.0

Dude. I remember that show. it was *intensely* disturbing to me back then. Hmmm. I wonder if it would freak me out as much as it did back then.
