Being surrounded by the constant hustle and bustle of Metropolis nearly made me forget how tranquil Smallville can be. It seems like one of those idyllic places that appear to be untouched by what takes place in the world around it. Which can be both a good and a bad thing, depending upon how you look at it. You sound as busy as I am. You're sure it's not a problem for Mar'i to be visiting? She was utterly thrilled when your husband said he'd be willing to meet her.

There's never any rest for wicked. I don't mind being busy as long as I'm actually getting things done. Just sitting around and watching the world pass by tends to drive me crazy.

It's not a problem at all. It will be great to have her around here, even if it's only for a few days.

I'm going to drop off a case of that stuff with Ma, by her request. She said that anything that can convert you from bleary-eyed, stumbling Lois to bright-eyed and bushy-tailed by the second cup is something she needs to look into.
