So, basically work is going really well for me since my promotion, and I am getting tonnes of shifts and being given priority for shifts before the other supervisor. But at the same time, it is driving me bonkers. My workplace is filled with wank. I am sorry, I can think of no other word to adequately describe the crazy that has overtaken the ( Read more... )

I swear I am left constantly wondering if he somehow avoided watching the (albeit somewhat ridiculous) human resources videos on harassment and guests with disabilities - and if he could be made to watch them again and again until they actually sink in. today alone, he told me the female coworker in question above was just mad at him cause he wouldn't sleep with her, and called a (I think Autistic? but maybe not) clearly mentally ill guest creepy - while she was still standing right there, well within hearing range. Autistic =/= deaf/stupid. Just, Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Sorry to hear about your work drama. Sometimes it is hard to stay out of things when you see them spiraling out of control.
On a happy note, what movie are you and your dad seeing?

He's a big Bill Mahr fan, so he wants to see Religulous, and I will survive it for him. It's not that I don't believe in the overall message of fanaticism=bad, but from what I've heard the movie is not my style (Mike hate not withstanding, I tend to be very tolerance=yay and I've heard the movie is very anti-religion of ANY kind biased).
I'm gonna see if he wants to see Burn After Reading as well, since I tried to see it after work last week with my sister and fell asleep 20 minutes in. He really likes the Cohen brothers, so he'll probably go for it if he can stay awake.
