So There's an awesome park right by my apartment. Huge, foresty, wildlife filled park. I love it. Been on walks there with Dingo a few times, two of them quite long walks (like measured in hours not minutes long) and I've seen so many birds (robins, cardinals, woodpeckers, etc.) and one bat.

I have no idea where the pics were taken, but...*stares* *blinks*

How can THAT be in the city? How? *puzzled* City=asphalt, traffic, cars, no lush gardens and/or nice streams for me.

We have tons of little ravines in the city as is? Also a lot of trees and little parks tucked away. There are also a few pretty big parks (where you really, also cannot tell at all that you're in the city, it's /awesome/.

There's also this huge valley that runs through the city, a lot of it has the Don Valley Parkway runnning through it, but parts of it are just like raviney-park land, and it's gorgeous :D

I never really realized how cool it was to have those ravines until I realized other places don't have them, because they are so relaxing and awesome. And there's one near my parents where I used to go, that totally looks like middle earth to me in the middle of the summer :D

p.s I'm not allowed to guess am I. Cuz I know which picture is which, because it's the one I didn't see last night.

so I realized while I was posting, but was too lazy to change it, but they all have the same name but one file, thus scrolling over and reading the file name in the link is an easy way to cheat, but anyway - the top middle pic is up north and the rest are less than a block away.

I think I just noticed it cause I was the one who named them so I was aware of the blatant, up northy names. Glad the option to cheat wasn't slapping everyone in the face. Makes the game more fun. Not that anyone's playing :P you never even guessed!
