Twilight in Fifteen Minutes. Guess I don't have to watch this movie anymo-- oh, I probably will so I can join in properly on all the pointing and lulz-ing.

It has nothing to do with government; this is a private court action between companies in the private sector. The government can't do anything about it because it's in the courts domain; whatever happens will be up to how the federal court decides. The decision will be common law, which would stand unless appealed to the High Court which would either strike it down and send it back or uphold the decision. If the latter happens only then would a step in the legislate on the matter.

The bit about sparkling cracked me up. I have never read or seen Twilight, but that LJ link made me choke laughing anyway. Also, 'freesia-scented tastyblood'. Wow.
