I kinda was surprise, about the episode, that Dean didn't make a big fuss of Sam's wound, I mean, all the other times I've seen them wounded they're all butt-hurt about the other and agonizing. That's the only thing about the episode that rubbed me the wrong way. Your fic fixed that for me. This is now my cannon.

Oh man, I had almost managed to completely block the Sam/Bela sex dream from my mind, but my friend brought it up again the other day too. *headdesk* I mean, I understanding having weird sex dreams about people you don't even like (although about people who shot you? That's a little weirder), BUT WHY DID WE HAVE TO SEE IT? So gratuitous, ugh.

I like the way the atmosphere here is a little colder than we would see in the first two seasons, both from Dean and from Sam. Because s3 had a lot of emotion in it, but it was also when both boys were beginning to build walls between them, Sam attempting to become some idea of a hypercompetent Dean, Dean trying not to let either of them fully realize what was coming.

Great description of the boys' struggle in S3. So heartbreaking...and yet not as heartbreaking as what's to come. *headdesk* Damn you, SPN.
