Stanford research! How many SPN fans have done this before me?

So, for another new WIP, I'm reading the online handbook for incoming freshmen at Stanford.  I love research.

Observations:

• freshmen aren't allowed to have cars on campus (not a problem for Sam, but others might complain)
• no free printing for students, whoa - ten cents a page (might be a problem for Sam)
• option to charge textbooks, up to $1000, on your

Hee! Someone else who thinks of Sam whenever Stanford is in the news!

You know, there was an NPR report last year I think with news that they've beefed up their mental health services for students...probably in response to some other university's shooting. I immediately thought of how helpful it might be to Sam. It's pretty traumatic to be kicked out of your family after the adrenalin wears off.

It would have undoubtedly been useful for him, but I can't imagine him going there by himself. I think he felt too much pressure to keep the past secret and to himself, to deal with it himself and focus on the charade and life he was building himself.
