New SPN fic! :D

Because guess what? I am GRADUATED. Free from my number one excuse of all the previous years, that oppressive barrier between me and my dreams of endless fic, and now it is gone. So here is the first of many and many more to come, I hope with very rapid speed.

Beautiful fic, and how much do I love that you have one - ONE - kinda explicit paragraph and it just is hot like burning?

A LOT. I LOVE IT A LOT.

Also - the world of monsters and the dark twisted things it breeds.

That line, right there, just grabs me. Poetic and simple. Perfect.

Loved this fic like you would not believe! The angst was delicious and your Sam broke my heart a little. And that ending-so perfect with just the right touch of darkness: just the way I like my fics!

I loved it! I could hear Sam's voice in my head completely, and how hard he was trying to live in the moment and hold onto Jess but kept slipping back to Dean. That paragraph was steamy yet so heartbreakingly sweet. Dean's line made my heart twinge. I also really love the imagery in the first paragraph, how happy he was then JARRED all of a sudden.

Seriously, fantastic. Looking forward to all the SPN fics to come!

Thanks so much for commenting! I'm glad it worked for you. :) Especially the part where he's first jarred by the car engine - glad you noticed that (or remembered it even after the paragraph of whoasex, heh).

This is lovely. Of course there is the angsty wincest goodness, but I think what makes me happiest about it is the initial contentment -- so few Stanford fics feel to me like college fic, like they really capture the things Sam may have loved about being at Stanford as well as his inevitable conflicts. It wouldn't be nearly as tragic if it were all a lie; it's the fact that for Sam the things that are true are always going to be partly a lie and vice versa.

Oh, thank you! It's easy for me, since I just finished four years at an awesome college, to try to work in the natural happy moments Sam had to have had when he wasn't busy angsting. :)
