Hi Mel,

I'm a pal of the lovely Slashy Sunshine and she's pointed me in your direction. I'm a big LotR fan and LOVE the guys, particularly Elijah/Dom/Billeh/Orli and am now a slash writer. Jeannette is one of my betas (and most excellent, too). She tells me you're going to the One Ring Con next month - WOW!! I do so envy you. I actually live in England, so all that excitement seems so far distant, but I'm intending to get a great deal of vicarious pleasure from reading others' accounts of the Con - yours included I hope!

I post on teh soapbox under my lj name - mostly hanging around Lotr & Lost threads (Have downloaded the entire series & watched it open-mouthed - love Charlie! Love Sawyer & Sayid too, & Hurley is just too great!!)

Most excellent! My slash is going up piece by piece on my LJ and at our new community, boxbunnyhutch. Only 2 chapters up so far. Have completed 6 (numero 6 just with Jeannette yea as we squawk).

Yes, report AND pictures from ORC Con please! Are you one of the lucky ones getting photos & autographs with the guys? I saw the price of the tickets and thought 'Man!!!! They're out to make a fortune from this!' Shame it's so expensive. Out of most people's reach.
