Not sure if we can ever really know if someone is really our equal *sighs*
Surely this quote has a fundamental flaw - meeting your equal is all very well, but if you meet your better and they also follow this quote then you will be their fool and they won't hold fellowship with you? *boggle*
Although I think it is a good idea not to let yourself be distracted from your true course by those around you, I also wonder if people ever really know what their true course is - maybe it is those around you who will show you what it is :-?
