fuck the new year. why should i change myself when everyone else stays the same? & so i sit back to take a look around and it seems as if everyone around me is as self-serving and backstabbing as ever. sometimes, i feel like i have not one true friend.

it seems that every time i put my faith in someone, they always let me down. i just want to tell him to kick rocks and go find another sucker, but there's something inside of me that doesn't want to let go. i really pictured myself spending a long time with him. what the hell was i thinking?

i still remember everyone who only gave me the time of day when they wanted something. the tables are turned & it's my time to shine. it feels good to show up all the people who lost faith in me. step out of my limelight.
