if the us is 3000 miles long, and you walk at about 3 mph, that means you'd be walking for about 1000 hours. 1000/24 = about 43 days, give or take a day. assuming you're asleep 8 hours each day because, hey, that's a hell of a lot of walking to do without sleeping, you'll sleep for 344 hours on that little journey. so you add about 14 days of sleep onto it. so danny, it would take you about 57 days, or a little under two months, to walk across the united states all alone.
