i've realised that one of the things i'm going to miss the most when i go overseas next year is playing in orchestras. i wish the nusso concert were in january instead of march, so i'd be able to play scheherazade once more

Really, Renee. You could've been more subtle. And I'm sure UWA has an orchestra... or find something like what your sister did. There are plenty of opportunities to play on campus (if you want to invest the time).

Or try something new - choral singing :D way less time-intensive, but pretty fulfilling as well. My chorale is performing a fall Disney show, and two months after that, some Latin piece that accompanies a silent Joan of Arc movie. Talk about eclectic.

hahahahahah. i didn't feel like being subtle about that :P heh. yeah i guess, but my sis told me she hasn't played at all this year yet! i hope uwa does have an orchestra, 'cos i haven't managed to find it yet. =/
