and so, chinese new year rolls round once again. as per tradition, there was the reunion dinner on chu xi ye, and all the house visiting on chu yi. this year, i kept thinking about how different it all was. the family seemed so small, without the cousins who were studying overseas. and maybe, just maybe, i won't even be home for cny next year

you'll probably figure something out, adapt the usual cny festivities but still keep them... i think it's nice that your family does all the visiting still. :)

yeah, i guess... but it won't be the same when the families become so small! haha, this year we were only short of.. three people? and it already felt a little sad. :( ah well!

hmm.. actually, you shouldn't worry too much about the future. i'm sure you and your siblings + cousins will come up with something. after all, i'm still amazed by how my family organizes cny gatherings each year and somehow, everyone manages to meet up. =)

hahaha that's true, i guess. but it won't be the same without all the visiting! lol it'll mostly be just having everyone go to one house and eat, that's all, right? haha guess we'll see in time to come! :D
