Last night reminded me of summers past. I went over to my friend's house, which involved driving for about 20 minutes up winding Empire Grade. It's amazing how 20 minutes away is so utterly different, like some sort of sanctuary. So then I drive down this random dirt road to find their house, hidden in the forest. this is exactly you. and even though it's hard to step outside of your daily life and see that, just think back to where you were two years ago and imagine if someone had showed you this entry and told you "this is what you'll be doing in two years". you'd be so happy!
