Have all my films developed. Will take me a while to sort through all the pictures & put them inot albums! No one will want to look at all the pictures, so I'm not sure how I'll organize things for friends to see. You guys may have to skip a lot of pages to get to the good stuff!

They were sooo cute!! They waved their trunks around in front of them like they weren't sure what to do with them.

Elephants in you yard are always cool.

Kruger does have tons of them. The relocate some as there are too many.
Elephant society is kinda like human society - ya gotta watch out for the lone bachelors.

It was funny that so many people warned me that I might not see any elephants in Kruger, but we saw tons of them every day. Guess they were worried that I'd get my hopes up too high and then be disappointed. But I wasn't! And I had seen elephants during my field school so I didn't really care if I didn't see them in Kruger.

you don't know me (i sorta know prairiedaun) but i just wanted to say that those pictures are absolutely amazing! you took them? if you don't mind my asking, what kind of camera do you own?

Glad you liked the photos. I'm pretty pleased with them, actually. Didn't know how well they'd turn out. It's just a point and shoot Pentax with a bit of a zoom. But it managed to take some pretty good photos, thankfully!

Go!! Whenever you can! Go! I loved it so much in South Africa. It's completely different from anything I've ever seen or experienced before, but there are also very familiar social issues that they're struggling with. It's just an amazing place to visit.
