Most moviegoing Americans would like to believe that cowboys only liked girls (much like sailors?), but let's not get into that.

Yeah, I wouldn't put much faith in a womens' group run by a man. Not that men can't run things (look at the US government) but seriously. It sounds like a pro-life Christian group to me.

Just don't think of it as annoying and alienating most moviegoing Americans (although that is a perfectly good reason to go see a movie) Instead, think of it as going to see a movie that has gotten great reviews from people in the know, with the added bonus of some hot cowboy action!

But I really want to annoy all the scary anti-gay right-wing people. I like to think that my presence and attitudes infuriate annoying people. :)

I think the movie opens here sometime in late January...it's fantastic/very moving. Daron couldn't wait til January so we went to go see it last night in Toronto...it was worth every penny. I will definitely be game to go see it again when it comes out here.
