Your TV opinions pretty much mirror mine. I'm enjoying Elementary much more this year than I did last year, at least partially because Kitty is a huge upgrade from Mycroft. And I totally agree on Arrow, which I also still enjoy, but like you, I would enjoy it even more if it would stop wallowing around in the manpain and get back to being about Team Arrow.

Caitlin is the closest I get, but she's still not there. Also, I find Barry, Iris and Barry/Iris kind of a snoozefest.Yeah, I like Caitlin, and I don't mind Barry, but I really dislike the Barry/Iris thing, mostly because of the insistence on keeping Iris in the dark regarding his secret identity. It's such a drag, and you would think that the producers would have learned from Oliver/Laurel that having a love interest who is always in the dark and kept away from the action doesn't work. Incidentally, the character I like the most on The Flash is Dr. Wells, with the Caitlin-Cisco team not far behind ( ... )

Elementary has been such a pleasant surprise this year, in that I was expecting pretty much a horror show. What a relief!

I do not understand why the Arrow creative team keep trying to write for another character - their character is actually more interesting and fun! So why this constant melodramatic crap that only drags the show down? That said, I haven't 'shipped a couple like I 'ship Felicity/Oliver in a looong time, so I'm probably in it for the long haul. Unless they do something stupid like kill her off.

I really dislike the Barry/Iris thing, mostly because of the insistence on keeping Iris in the dark regarding his secret identity.
That is one factor that adds to the annoyance for me, but the absolute worst part is how she sees him as a brother and they grew up together. I do not understand this creative team that puts obstacles in the path of their intended pairing that don't need to be there. It's not part of comics canon that Oliver slept with Dinah's sister (at least from my understanding of the comics, I don't actually ( ... )

Oh, how did Logan end up in the navy? I should prob read the books, but Rob gave an interview after the movie that made me so mad that I just don't trust him at all. And wow, Meg's sister. Yeah, Veronica should have done more for her now that I think about it. :/

He describes how he hit bottom before joining the Navy, which involves two ODs and a contemplated suicide attempt. =(

Rob gave an interview after the movie that made me so mad that I just don't trust him at all.
I make it a policy never to read KB or RT interviews about VM. I've seen both of them say too many stupid ass things to think they're not going to be rage-inducing. If it makes you feel any better, a friend and I were discussing how much we love Veronica since the movie, and especially in the books. They're from her POV, of course, but more than that, it feels like RT finally GETS what we all (well, I at least) loved about her from season 1.

Logan. :(((( It made me so ridiculously happy that he'd joined the navy, and I imagined it was something like that beforehand. I was afraid when I first heard details of the movie (that his rockstar girlfriend died and he was living with Dick) that he wouldn't have matured at all, but he so has. I don't trust Rob not to fuck it up, but fingers crossed, heh.

And that's good to hear about the books! Part of me hopes they never make anything else because apparently Rob thinks a couple has to break up to be interesting, and I just want Veronica and Logan together and solving crimes and being awesome. There's so much potential for drama that doesn't involve a breakup. Like how the Taylors on FNL had their problems, but their devotion to each other was never in question.
