The new television season has hit like a ton of bricks and I pretty much crumbled right away. So. Behind. But I've made a valiant attempt to catch up lately.

I had issues with the ickyness of the Selfie pilot, while at the same time realizing that it was there so they could fix it. Which they've started doing, so now I'm happy to watch. Until cancellation. *sigh*

A to Z couldn't hold my attention at all, I don't know why. I scrapped it after the second episode.

Jane the Virgin is hokey and cheesy and kind of awesome if you just embrace it.

I feel exactly the same way about Sleepy Hollow! I've honestly started FFing through anything with Katrina and the horseman, or John Noble if he's not talking to Ichabod. The mythology is sooooo boring. This show needs to have cases of the week. Ichabod can help Abbie solve modern crimes using historical thinking, and then for sweeps we can have some mythology. It's like, if X-Files had been all alien conspiracy all the time, or Veronica hadn't had mysteries of the week. And I would totally watch 42 minutes of Ichabod navigating the modern world every week.
