This is a nonsensical comparative picspam post. See, for the past while, whenever I've seen a cap that reminds me of another - from anyplace else! - I've tried to remember to save it in a folder. I don't think I ever saw that icon.

I find these kinds of caps at regular intervals, but to get another picspam put together will probably take another couple of years.

Hee! I've been thinking about putting together this picspam for a while now, but I couldn't think of a format. Then the headings for each pair just started writing themselves and I was suddenly good to go!

I had noticed a couple of these before -- the Buffy/Spike vs. Veronica/Logan one, and Cameron vs. the Buffybot as well [those creepy destroyed!Cameron promos have always reminded me of the 'bot anyway] -- but the fact that you saw so many parallels in such different places is just great. :)

There are several caps that parallel Buffy/Spike with Veronica/Logan. But that particular one stands out for so many reasons.

Sometimes it wasn't until I started thinking of a heading that I realized that there was an underlying similarity to the caps. Like the last one. I just saw Deb's hands tied in front of her and immediately thought of Aeryn. But then I came up with Betrayed by Love from out of nowhere, and it's so apt. One is betrayed by the one she loves, the other by the very concept of love. I thought that was neat!
