Oooh, I'm interested in the invite! Dreamwidth is the first time I've seen people excited over an alternative to LJ rather than just settling. Do you need my e-mail address, or do you already have it?

I think there are some amazing things about Dreamwidth (the import feature, despite my own failures with it, is AMAZING, and anyone who can come up with something like that is bound to do good things).

Yay! I almost posted today asking if anyone had an invite. If nothing else there's always the urge to reserve my name everywhere. I'm so disappointed I don't have it on Twitter.

A future where John Connor isn't the leader of the resistance!
YET. I don't know why everyone assumes he started the resistance. All we've known is that he's the one who really turns the tide around, so he can still rise to lead. Who knows, maybe in one future he did start the whole movement (and actually lived through Judgment Day), but they didn't provide a year at the end, so there's ample time for John to become Skynet Target Numero Uno.

I'm glad AmazonFail has worked itself out because I need to pre-order a lot of DVDs!

I don't assume anything, but the way everyone is willing to die for John Connor, I just don't think he can enter into it at this late stage (based on Derek still looking about the same age) and get that kind of devotion. And, like someone mentioned downthread, Kyle and John broke out of the work camps together, and that certainly didn't happen in this timeline.

I mean, obviously, things have changed since we found out that anyway, but I still feel like this has to be an alternate timeline, not John's main one.
