I LOVED his Dark Materials - once I got into it I couldn't out it down. =/

S1 of Ugly Betty & VM were so very stunning, I completely agree.

I KNEW VM s1 would be number one before I clicked on the cut. \o/ And season 1 of Life is freakishly pretty for a cop show.

I actually read the first two books rather close together, but the final one is like pulling teeth, I swear.
Heh. It's not as good as the first two, no. Thank God for Mary Malone and the mulefa, though.

I need at least one in rotation at any given moment (right now I have at least three)
Man, I don't understand how people can be reading multiple books at a time! I mean, I guess it's not different from watching TV shows episodes at a time, but...books! I can only focus on one at a time. I like that start-to-finish-okay-what's-the-next-one cycle.

The Blind Assassin, by Margaret Atwood.
I want to read that.

The Time Traveler's Wife, by Audrey Niffenegger. It really is the perfect choice to read on the subway, because it is so engrossing that I'm completely focused on the story and the travel time just flies.
Love that book. And, yeah, so engrossing. I just get lost in the language.

Those are some pretty, pretty seasons. I didn't even realize MNIE was that pretty and colorful.

That is one gay Hamlet poster. Damn. What the hell.
