The biggest problem is that there's still no fix from Coppermine itself, so until they plug all the leaks and release a new version, it can probably happen again. So the real fun will be tomorrow, when I can see if I've been re-hacked (meaning my precautions weren't enough).

Thanks, I might just take you up on that! I think the real issue is that Coppermine has still not gotten their act together and issued a new release that deals with this problem (if the forum posts are anything to go by, this whole thing started three days ago!) Worst case scenario would probably be switching to a completely different application, but GOD, what a nightmare!

Would it EVER! I'm at well over 300 000 caps at this point. Can you imagine trying to get all that organized? AGAIN? I guess I probably wouldn't have to reupload the files, but still, oh man!

I just checked and my oldest directory, with the movie caps, hadn't gotten hit. I wonder if there's something different about that particular directory that I can apply to all the other ones. I think it warrants investigating at the very least!
