ITEM THE FIRST: Strike almost certainly over (unless the members vote against the recommended action, which I find unlikely);
showrunners returning to work on Monday.
ITEM THE SECOND: I basically just copied my cap posts from LJ and made
a page on my site instead, listing all the caps. Probably a smarter alternative, primitive though it is.

I guess we won't know until tomorrow if the strike will really REALLY be over, but I'm feeling optimistic. I think I can afford to because there's no show I really care about all that much, I've been more worried about the summer season and next season.

Oooh, SHINY.
I'm so glad you made this poll. I've always wondered what people prefer when it comes to thumbnails in galleries. I'm with you, I'd much rather have as many caps per page as people can handle. I also like the thumbnails to be large. When they're super small I find it hard to see the differences between the caps, and I often feel like I'm looking for small details.

I was surprised by the results. I figured people would like more thumbnails now that most everyone (and especially everyone who works with graphics) has better Internet connections. But I was thinking 60-80, not an overwhelming margin for 100. I have no problem with it, though, so I'm switching my galleries over to 100 thumbnails per page. Well, except for the ones I used as examples, I'll leave them for a day more or so.
I like the new 150 px thumbnails I've switched to. I tried 200 px, but they were too big, and the old 100 px ones didn't really work for me. 150 seems just right.
