I'm so with you on Rami. I would never wear his clothes cause um, if it's unflattering on a model it's going to be unflattering on everyone. The contestants this season are generally pretty disappointing. I just thank the Sweet Lord Baby Jesus that Ricky was eliminated because I couldn't take another episode of his moaning and crying. Ugh. Fucking Ricky and his hideous mesh hats.

I just don't get how the judges can be so complimentary of something that's so obviously is making the model look bigger than she is. I mean, it's insane how his models always look big-boned even when you know they're really waifs.

I never had any issues with Ricky like some others, but it was waaaaay past time for him to go. I can't believe Victorya - whose designs I didn't even like all that much - went before him. Some of the things he sent out were just BAD. He just always got saved by someone who was worse.

I am still scarred for life by the whole Marlena possessed by the Devil storyline that plagued my college years, but that is so low. I can't believe they sacked the whole writing team. The head writer was apparently very well regarded in the community. I know the strike might be over any time, but news like this kinda makes me wary of what we will have to deal with after it is done.

While DoOL was the only daytime soap I've ever watched voluntarily (I translated The Bold and the Beautiful for a while, but that's a whole other story), I was never a regular watcher. It's not loyalty to the show, it's the underhandedness of doing this right now, when there seems to be a light at the end of the tunnel.

I watched Atonement yesterday too. I wasn't spoiled about ending it was really good movie. And i think the library scene won't be easily go from my mind :D

My spoiling only went as far as "surprise ending", but it does kind of tend to shift your mind in directions it wouldn't otherwise take.

I left off capping just before the library scene because I knew I couldn't focus enough to do it justice at two am. I'll be starting there later on when I resume capping. VERY much looking forward to it. *g*

I usually like Christian's clothes, but I agree on feeling lackluster about the contestants this season. Previous seasons all had someone whose work I was dying to see on the runway, but not so much this time around. Tim keeps saying it's the best crop of designers yet, but I don't see it.

And WTF re: NBC. That is pretty damn low.

I think Christian is about the only person whose Bryant Park collection could actually BE something, I just know that if it's anything like what he's put out so far, I won't like it all that much.

It's such a weasely move, and you just can't help but suspect that they're doing it right now because it's their last chance to do so under the cover of the strike.

I liked Kit, and I was sad when she was gone. While Christian's annoying as a person, his clothes are at least interesting. Chris would make something crazy but entertaining, and Rami would give us more of the same, but I do find his work pretty (if unwearable).

Jillian and Sweet Pea just bore me.

Maybe I'll spoil myself on the collections when it's down to 3 and see if I even want to keep bothering to watch.
