Last night I was hit with this idea just as I was going to sleep: Nathan Fillion should totally be Liz Lemon's new love interest. And then I wept at the thought of him on Desperate Housewives. That would be perfect! And then I'd just have to organize a campaign to get Nathan on 30 Rock! Easy as pie. Let me know when the nominations open up and I'll definitely be there with my vote. Um, though I should probably join, first, right? *g*

How could I not? It's so much fun to cap, because I hardly bother with the people I don't care so much about, so basically it's all Liz, Jack and Kenneth. The rest get token caps, with extra caps if there are funny faces involved. =)

Heh, that's exactly what I said to myself. I even cropped some bases and then when it came down to making the icons I just went for the Liz caps each and every time. I think it's because I want a funny Kenneth icon, and I usually suck at funny icons.

I don't think I've had that much fun capping a movie in AGES, because it's been so long since I'd seen it that I'd somehow forgotten just how terrible (and therefore AWESOME) that movie is. Cool Rider! Who's That Guy! The finale in motorcycle heaven! BWAHAHAHA!

I was seriously considering making that Christmas Tree dress from 'Girl for All Seasons" for my Halloween costume. Everything about that movie brings me so much joy!

As far as entertainment goes, I think it holds up better than the original, mostly because of the excess CHEESE.

I was kind of half-asleep, so instead of dreaming about it happening, I dreamt that it should happen. I would have preferred having the idea in my sleep. =)

Also, first step in my plan to get Nathan Fillion to be Liz's new love interest? Making sure Tina Fey knows who Nathan Fillion IS. Once she does, I'm sure things will fall into place.

I'm so ridiculously excited for Long Way Down, and I noticed that the boys were making the rounds on UK morning shows/interview shows, so I figured the show would premiere soon, but I couldn't find the info anywhere. I finally realized that on the longwaydown.com web site there's a mention of it in one of the banners, but there's nothing else on the site and there's nothing on the BBC site. Boo, I say ( ... )

He even started out on a sitcom! And even though he was pretty much the straight man on that show, I think even something like Firefly shows that he's got comedic timing. And it would be so different seeing him in a comedy now.

I have a couple more I haven't uploaded to my own userpics, but feel free to grab whatever you want from there. I'll probably upload the rest to my Scrapbook soonish. =)

I loved that show! I caught it in syndication and got totally hooked.

I watched that show way before Firefly, and I have to say, Nathan's character was not a favorite of mine. But I've been wanting to revisit it to see how seeing him as Mal might've changed the way I view him.

I made the Tyra icon a while back, right AFTER I posted about FNL - twice. Great timing, that.
