Links of all shapes and sizes

I spent last night watching Keith Olbermann videos on YouTube. I love Jon and Stephen as much as the next person, but sometimes you just need someone to say the things you're too inarticulate to say and Keith Olbermann is the one who does that for me. Doesn't hurt that he makes O'Reilly look like an idiot most of the time either ( Read more... )

At least a couple of people on my flist linked it in the last few weeks, but I haven't seen many people mentioning it. I guess it's not that big a deal since it's not even off the ground yet, but I'm looking forward to it (even though I didn't mind how it ended).

I haven't had a chance to look at the Gmail thingy since I restarted Firefox. I hope it's good.

Wow, Keith Olbermann just gave me chills. CHILLS! These may very well be the best eight minutes of my day today, as I'm revising for my last final, and dang they're brilliant.

Listening to Olbermann talk about political issues is like a balm to the soul. Yes, things are still bad, but at least someone's speaking - eloquently - about what's going on. Even if it is a worst case scenario, I don't think it's so far-fetched that something truly bad might happen in the future.

No - I had not heard of the Dead Like Me film. How will they get Patankin with Criminal Minds so successful? I would love to see more of that universe but I really, really want only the original characters back. But thanks for posting the link.

And Callum is doing The Tudors (which just got picked up for another season), right? I'm hoping that the cast will be interested in going back and finishing up what they started.

I haven't seen The Tudors but do plan to watch it when it hits DVD. But yes, it did get picked up.

I'm hoping that the cast will be interested in going back and finishing up what they started.

Oh me too. I loved that show.

Ewan! Charley! Claudio! I cannot WAIT.

I did read about the DLM DVD, but to me, it would be pointless to watch if they don't have the original cast back. And looking up the main cast on IMDb, it's not like all of them are really busy with anything else right now.

Gmail Skins, thank you! It's annoying that Gmail doesn't offer any colour selection themselves.

I wonder how long it'll be before episodes start airing? Will they have to finish the trip first or not? I'm hoping not, because I was kind of thinking they had already set off on the trip.

I agree that the cast needs to return, but I'm hoping they'll want to return.

Gmail should have skins, shouldn't it? Why do they insist on only having one look when it's so easy to rectify?

I was just complaining this weekend to a friend of mine about Ewan and Charley's trip not happening. I had no idea they were so close to starting! Yay!

I *had* heard the thing about DLM, though, but I was choosing not to believe it until there was more confirmation. I'm kind of torn, I like the last episode a lot as a series capper, but I really really want more reapers. I suppose I can't lose either way, though, I've gotten really good at selective memory when it comes to fandom. ;)

I was actually under the impression that they'd already set off, so I was surprised they left on Saturday. But yay, it's finally happening!

I think the last episode worked well as a series finale, but I wouldn't mind seeing more, especially if we get to see more of the original cast. (Though what will they do about Reggie? She's got to be all growed up by now.)
